Project Based Learning
WHAT IS PBL?
Project Based Learning's core is curious learning. PBL begins with a question, “I wonder” or a problem. The answer to the question is derived not from their teachers but from the children’s work. The work is what culminates a love-for-learning. Work is observing, investigating, experimenting, discovering and always hands.
EXAMPLES OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING
While visiting Alta Plaza Park, the teachers observed that the guppies exhibited a fear of bees but at the same time were fascinated by their behavior. They asked questions about why they sting people, why do they fly from flower to flower, and where do they live?
This was the catalyst for the project based theme Bees.
